Fortnite adds “Take It Slow” emote based on Camila Cabello hit song – hurry up if you want to grab it
FORTNITE Chapter 2 Remix is well underway, and it brings back elements from the game’s original Chapter 2, while also adding new music-themed content.
Alongside a stellar lineup of rappers in-game, including Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice, and a tribute to the late Juice WRLD, Fortnite’s Item Shop is constantly adding new cosmetics to match the seasonal theme.
Yesterday, November 4, 2024, Fortnite added a new Take It Slow emote to the Item Shop, based on the song I LUV IT by Camila Cabello feat. Playboi Carti.
Camila Cabello’s hit single was released earlier this year, in March, and the singer performed it live for the first time at Coachella 2024.
The new emote dances to a sped-up version of the song, and comes with a description that reads: “Strike a pose on your own time.”
Take It Slow can be used in Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode, but also in the more recent Fortnite Festival and Lego Fortnite modes.

The emote is Beat Synced, meaning that it will sync with the beat of Jam Tracks in Fortnite Festival and in Battle Royale.
Beat Synced is a new feature of emotes added with the Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix update.
The new Take It Slow emote can be purchased from Fortnite’s Item Shop for 500 V-Bucks, which is about £3.50 / $4.50, based on the current price of a 1,000 V-Bucks bundle.
Fans who want to buy the emote will be able to find it in the Item Shop until November 7, 2024, at 12am (midnight) UK time, that’s November 6 at 7pm ET.

At that time, the Item Shop will refresh with new items, including Eminem’s new Rap Boy Reloaded skin.
