Nintendo delights fans with a new free perk for Switch Online members and it’s exactly what they asked for
NINTENDO is known for its incredible library of music, but over the years there have been limited ways that you can listen to its soundtracks.
While you can purchase some of the soundtracks, it can get pricey trying to build a Nintendo collection.
In a big win for Nintendo fans, the company has now launched a new app for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers.
If you want to listen to Nintendo’s iconic music, all you need to do is download the Nintendo Music app on iOS or Android and link your Nintendo account with an active NSO subscription.
The app will allow you to download or stream music to your phone and other devices using the app.
Nintendo’s app has launched with dozens of songs from across its more popular series such as Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda and Pokémon.

It also comes with curated playlists to fit different moods, such as ‘break time’ and ‘good night’.
There are also lists based on different characters, and the option to toggle spoilers on and off for games you have not played.
You can also create and curate your own playlist of music, and even put certain songs on loop for up to 60 minutes.
Nintendo hasn’t revealed exactly which songs and soundtracks will be part of the app, but there are 20 games included at launch.
