PlayStation fans can grab free Venom collectible in time for the latest film’s release
VENOM: The Last Dance has just hit cinemas, and to celebrate, PlayStation is giving away a collectible to fans who want to grab one.
A new campaign called 'We Are Venom' is running via PlayStation Stars starting today, letting you get a digital figure of Venom for free.
In the next 41 days, PS4 and PS5 owners can complete the campaign and grab the reward just by launching any game on their consoles.
To get the Venom collectible you must have signed up for the free PS Stars loyalty program and start the 'We Are Venom' campaign from the PS App.
No PS Plus subscription is required to participate, but you need to have the PS App installed on your phone to join.
If you are already using PS Stars, you just start the Venom campaign in the app and then play any PS4 or PS5 game on your console.

The 'We Are Venom' reward is a digital 3D figure of Venom which has a Heroic rarity and, once earned, can be displayed on your PSN profile.
Venom fans will have until December 5, 2024, to grab the reward, which is when the campaign will expire.
Aside from having its third movie launch in cinemas this weekend, Venom is prominently featured in PlayStation's recent Marvel's Spider-Man 2 game.
The video game launched for PS5 just a year ago, in October 2023, and is coming to PC in January 2025.

PS Stars is Sony's loyalty scheme for PlayStation fans, which allows players to collect points on PS Store purchases.
It also lets console owners earn collectibles by completing tasks in timed campaigns.
Campaigns usually involve playing or buying specific games, or earning in-game trophies.
The digital collectibles players earn by completing campaigns can then be shown off in a special display case via the PS App.
PS Stars points can be exchanged for more collectibles, or used to purchase select games, in-game currencies, or PS Store credit.
Recently, the programme came under fire for changing its terms and removing a feature from some users.
The change also caught some playes off guard, making them lose access to the programme for failing to accept its new terms.
