Depending on how many takeaways arrive at your door each month, Uber One could save you a fair bit of money.

But if that's not enough to entice you, Uber is now offering new subscribers one year's worth of free Disney+.

It's a standard Disney+ subscription too - so you won't have to endure ads.

An annual Disney+ Standard plan will currently set you back £79.90 per year.

Whereas the cost of Uber One annually is £59.99.

That means you can buy an Uber One subscription instead of a Disney+ package and get the benefits of both while saving £20.

Unlike most time-sensitive offers, this deal is available to both new subscribers and returning Disney+ users.

As long as you don't have an active Disney+ account, you are eligible to snap up this bargain.

The offer ends at midnight on 30 November - so you have a while to decide whether it's right for you.

If you do go ahead with the deal, it's important to note that it can take up to 48 hours to receive a Disney+ code from Uber.

And you must use the code to activate your Disney+ account before the offer runs out, otherwise it might not work.

Uber quietly launched the promotion in March this year.

If you have claimed a Disney+ code from signing onto Uber One between 18 March and 30 November, then you won't be able to accept the offer again.

You also can't cancel your Uber One subscription after securing the deal, in an effort to game the system.

Bargain hunters on HotUKDeals have already tried that trick, and allegedly had their Disney+ accounts cancelled after just a few weeks.

Disney+ password crackdown

It comes as Disney+ plots a Netflix-style account sharing crackdown on UK customers.

The decision to start blocking password sharing among family and friends was rolled out to US customers last week.

Account holders will have the option to add an "outside" extra user at a discounted rate, in the exact same model Netflix uses.

Users who share an account with someone outside of their household can add an “Extra Member” for $6.99 per month for Disney+ Basic (with ads) or $9.99 for Disney+ Premium (ad-free).

Basic and Premium monthly plans in the US cost $7.99 and $13.99 respectively.

While Disney+ has not revealed the exact UK pricing yet, Brits can expect similar cost tiers for their "Extra Members" across the pond.
