APPLE has finally unveiled a "gorgeous" true pink model - but not everyone is pleased with the block colour twist.
The tech giant has typically leaned towards metallic colours, such as rose gold.
But this year's iPhone 16 comes in five block colours: black, white, pink, teal and blue.
It is similar to Apple's previous iPhone 11 lineup, which took more on block pastel colours.
"The worst set of colors I've ever seen," one onlooker wrote on social media platform X.

Another added: "Half of them look like fisher price toys."
While Apple fans largely love the bubble gum pink, they say the green looks like "plastic" and that the blue looks "medical".
The iPhone 16 comes with two new buttons.
The first is the Action button, which was available on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models.

The second is the all-new Camera Control button, that lets users launch the camera with one click – and a second click takes a photo.
A click-and-hold while the camera is open will begin recording video.
Apple said that apps like Snapchat will also add Camera Control functions in.
The iPhone 16 was finally unveiled today at Apple Park in California, alongside the Apple Watch 10 and Ultra, as well as the new Air Pods.
The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models will come in four colours: black, white, silver, and "desert" a new gold shade.
Prices and release date
Apple says that the new iPhone 16 will start at $799/£799, while the iPhone 16 Plus costs $899/£899.
