Dune, Call of Duty and Indiana Jones are just some of the games that will appear

GAMESCOM Opening Night Live is almost upon us, which means that we are about to find out more about the biggest upcoming games.

One of the biggest games that will be featured is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and it is believed that we will finally see a release date for the Xbox game.

We’ve already seen a lot from Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 with plenty of trailers already out there in the wild, but we’ll get even more info on one of this year’s biggest games.

Monster Hunter Wilds is also expected to make a big splash as fans eagerly await the next entry in the series.

Film buffs will be pleased as more will be revealed about Dune: Awakening, the open-world survival MMO game set in the Dune universe.

More in Upcoming Games

The final game to highlight is Civilization 7, which will soon be released, eight years after the last entry in the strategy series.

Here’s the full list of games we know will appear at Gamescom Opening Night Live:

  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
  • Monster Hunter Wilds
  • Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
  • Little Nightmares 3
  • Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero
  • Batman: Arkham Shadow
  • Dune: Awakening
  • Marvel Rivals
  • Squid Game Unleashed
  • Tarsier Studios’ new game
  • Sid Meier’s Civilization 7
  • Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
  • Lost Records: Bloom & Rage

While other specific games have not been confirmed, we know that major publishers Bandai Namco, Bethesda, Capcom, Sega, Square Enix, Ubisoft and EA will be in attendance.

We would be surprised if some major upcoming games from these companies weren’t shown off during the event.

As for games that won’t appear during the two-hour long showcase, Keighley has named some after numerous enquiries by fans.

The two main games that won’t be part of the event are GTA 6 and Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Every time there is a gaming showcase people beg to see more of these games, so it makes sense that Keighley would confirm that they won’t be shown.

While GTA 6 won’t be shown, that doesn’t mean that other Rockstar Games won’t make an appearance.

A PC version of the original Red Dead Redemption was leaked online, so an announcement for this could be featured.
