SKY has announced a major TV upgrade is coming in a matter of days to viewers across the UK.
A new streaming service is on its way with capabilities for up to 100 extra live channels.
The number of live streams will depend on the sporting event calendar, providing fans with even more choice than ever before.
It effectively gives Sky Sports subscribers 50 per cent more sport at no extra cost, according to Sky.
Sky Sports+ will be provided as an app on Sky Q, Sky Glass and Sky Stream.
It will also have a new linear channel, which will replace the existing Sky Sports Arena, according to CordBusters.
Highlights on the new app include extensive EFL coverage, with more than 1,000 live game including every Carabao Cup fixture.
Every match from the men's Super League will be show too.
And tennis fans can enjoy over 100 tournaments across the US Open, ATP, and WTA tours.
The new service is launching over the coming week in two stages.
A Sky Sports+ streaming app will become available on August 6.
Then a couple of days later on August 8, the Sky Sports+ linear channel will follow.
Virgin Media TV customers who subscribe to Sky Sports will have access to Sky Sports+.
However, it'll only be available on Virgin Media 360 boxes and Virgin Media Stream.
But the new Sky Sports+ linear channel will be available no matter what box you have.
Customers of EE TV - formerly known as BT TV - can stream Sky Sports+ via a NOW Sports subscription on both the EE TV 4K Pro Box, and the new custom Apple TV box.
A NOW Sports subscription is included on EE TV’s Big Sport and Full Works plans.
