Dragon Age: The Veilguard is confirmed for a new platform and you can play on the go
WE haven’t seen a new game in the Dragon Age series for a decade, but the next release is right around the corner.`
The last game in the series, Dragon Age: Inquisition, won Game of the Year at the 2014 Game Awards.
Fans have waited a long time to see a new game in the series, and the first trailer for Dragon Age: The Veilguard was released this year.
Luckily, we won’t have to wait much longer as The Veilguard is scheduled to launch before the end of the year.
A statement on the official Dragon Age Twitter account has revealed a number of details that fans are excited about.
The first is the announcement that the game has been verified for Steam’s portable console, the Steam Deck.
More in Upcoming Games
This is huge news for players, as they will be able to play Dragon Age: The Veilguard on the go.
However, this wasn’t the only positive announcement from the Twitter account.
It was revealed that the upcoming game will be native to Steam, meaning that players will not require the EA app in order to play.
It is common now that bigger publishers and companies require you to download their proprietary apps in order to play their games.

This includes companies like Ubisoft’s with its Ubisoft Connect launcher or the EA App from Dragon Age’s publisher EA.
Most EA games require the app if you want to play them, but many players see it as just another barrier between them and playing their games.
Comments under the announcement have been extremely positive, and people are excited to play these games via Steam and on their Steam Decks.
