A BRAND new Android smartphone has burst onto the scene not only with an eye-catching design but also a very tempting price.
It comes from a lesser-known device maker, Nothing, that's already made waves with glowing LED back lights and competitive costs.
Now the company has unveiled the first Android handset from its sub-brand CMF.
And it all comes just hours before leading Android manufacturer Samsung prepares for its new Galaxy event in which smartphones are rumoured to be on the agenda.
CMF actually stands for "colour, material, finish" which its CMF Phone 1 appears to aim for.

It features a striking set of back plates to play around with the design including orange, light green, blue and black which can be easily replaced.
But there's a very industrial look to the phone, with screws exposed on the rear.
The range also comes with a load of bespoke accessories including a stand, lanyard and card case - though you'll have to buy these separately at £19 each.
Nothing released the device along with a slew of other gadgets to combat what the company's boss describes as a "boring industry".

"CMF Phone 1, CMF Watch Pro 2, and CMF Buds Pro 2 showcase Nothing's unique approach to integrating creativity, practicality, and personalisation through design," said Carl Pei, CEO of Nothing.
"These products further mark our commitment to injecting fun into a boring industry, and I'm very excited to see the market feedback."
The CMF Phone 1 has a massive 5000 mAh battery that the firm claims will allow users to keep going for up to two days on a single charge.
However, some observers have said it's a "missed opportunity" as you can't remove the battery despite the fact you can take back plates off.
There is also one "deal breaker" feature missing - NFC.
NFC allows users to pay for shopping with their mobile wirelessly.
"I understand the business model, but NFC is more of a necessity than a feature," one person wrote on Reddit.
"I use NFC every day here in the UK," another said.
"Normal people cannot manage without it. It's probably 5 years since I even saw any cash."
But if you can live without those features, it's a pretty cheap smartphone starting at £209.
And Amazon are running a limited deal before it's even released, bringing the price down even further to £179 at the moment.
