PARAMOUNT+ has unveiled a surprise summer deal that more than halves the monthly cost of the US streaming service.

The new time-limited UK offer means Brits can have cheaper access to top shows like Yellowjackets, Twin Peaks and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.

It is also home to fan-favourite films like Interstellar, Top Gun: Maverick and titles from the Transformers franchise.

Since its launch in the UK two years ago, Paramount+ has been steadily attracting more viewers while it builds up its library of content.

Roughly 2.6million UK households signed up for the streaming service in the first quarter of this year, about one million more than the same period the year before.

The service usually costs £6.99/month or £69.99 for an entire year in the UK.

But it is now offering a three-for-one deal on its website from now until July 9, 2024.

New subscribers can get three months of Paramount+ for the price of one month.

This makes the cost £2.31 per month for the first three months, more than 65 per cent less than the regular price.

It's important to note that this is only for new customers, and not existing Paramount+ subscribers.

Netflix App to Disappear from Over 60 TV Models

Paramount+'s classic seven day free trial is also not included in the offer.

Once the discounted three months are up, the subscription will automatically renew at the regular price.

If you don't want to pay the full price, set up a reminder on your phone or in your calendar to cancel the membership before it renews.

NOT-FLIX

It comes as Netflix is set to vanish from a total of 60 TV models at the end of next month.

The rival streaming company announced earlier this month that is ending support for dozens of TVs - even if you pay for a subscription.

The affected TVs are roughly a decade old, and due to technical limitations, can no longer host the Netflix app.
