Pokémon fans can grab a championship winning ‘mon completely free – hurry up
THE Pokémon North American International Championship is currently taking place in New Orleans, where the best trainers in the world will compete for the prestigious title.
To celebrate one of the world’s biggest Pokémon tournaments, The Pokémon Company is giving away an international champion ‘mon for every player of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
In April, the European International Championship took place in London, and was eventually won by Swedish player Nils Dunlop.
EUIC was part of the Regulation F ruleset and Dunlop’s team consisted of Amoonguss, Flutter Mane, Ursaluna, Incineroar, Rapid-Strike Urshifu, and Porygon2.
The Pokémon Company is giving away a copy of Dunlop’s Porygon2, and every Pokémon Scarlet and Violet player can grab it.
Porygon2 was crucial to the success of Dunlop’s team during the championship, and is a popular choice for a number of competitive teams.

Dunlop’s Porygon2 holds the Eviolite item, which boosts its Defense and Special Defense, helping it last longer on the field.
It has the Flying-tera type alongside the moves Tera Blast, Ice Beam, Recover and Trick Room.
The Porygon2 has the ability Download, which boosts either its Attack or Special Attack when it enters battle.
It has a lot of investment in its HP, Defense and Special Attack, as well as some investment in its Special Defense.

This means that it can stay on the field a long time while also dealing significant damage in return.
Dunlop’s Porygon2 is available to download until Monday, June 10, 2024, after this it will be gone for good.
If you want to catch your own, select Poké Portal in the main menu, and then navigate to Mystery Gift.
Select ‘Get with Code/Password’ and enter the code NA1CTR1CKR00M.
