PlayStation gamers can grab 82-rated must-play masterpiece for a fiver – 85% off

PLAYSTATION is running several concurrent sales right now, and fans can’t get enough of its store’s deals on great games.

An excellent game based on a celebrated book series is having its price slashed by a whopping 85%.

Metro Exodus: Gold Edition now costs just £5.24 / $5.99 on the PlayStation Store.

The game’s regular price is £34.99 / $39.99, so the deal will save you around £20 / $34.

Based on Dmitry Glukhovsky’s novels, Exodus is the latest entry in the Metro series of games.

It’s a post-apocalyptic story set in a fictionalised version of Moscow, which has been devastated by nuclear war.

The survivors of the nuclear armageddon live in hiding in the tunnels of the Moscow Metro underground system.

The third game in the series follows protagonist Artyom and his crew as they flee the tunnels and set off on a journey to the Far East.

Metro games are first-person shooters, and if you liked the Fallout games and TV show, you should definitely try them.

Metro Exodus launched in 2019 to very positive reviews and currently has an 82 rating on review aggregator Metacritic.

The PlayStation Store’s deal is for the game’s Gold Edition, which includes access to two major story expansions, The Two Colonels and Sam’s Story.

If you are missing the other Metro games, the Metro Saga Bundle features the entire trilogy for just £7.49 / $8.99 instead of £49.99 / $59.99.

The bundle contains the same Gold Edition of Metro Exodus and adds the remastered versions of the first two games, Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux, for just £2 / $3 more.

Players have until June 20, 2024, to grab the deal on Metro Exodus: Gold Edition, while the Metro Saga Bundle deal ends on June 13.
