FORTNITE will go down this week as the servers prepare for the latest season of one of the world’s most popular games.
The map of Fortnite is already preparing for the season change as a giant sandstorm has begun enveloping everything in sight.
A mysterious boat has emerged from the sand, and by the looks of things, something sinister is on the horizon.
The season has been dubbed Fortnite Wrecked, and fans are expecting a Mad Max-style season spent roaming the wasteland in makeshift vehicles.
This will coincide with the long-awaited release of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, coming to cinemas on May 24.
However, there is another collaboration that fans are more excited for.
More in Fortnite
Following the highly successful release of the TV show, a collaboration between Fallout and Fortnite has been teased.
We expect to find out more when the season kicks off, and we’ll get a better look when the Battle Pass drops.
Fortnite Wrecked will begin on Friday, May 24, 2024, at 7am UK Time / 2am ET, which is the time that the server downtime will begin.
Servers usually go back online after around 5 hours – though downtime does vary – but once it is finished the next season will start.
