THE 20th edition of the UK’s biggest gaming award show has just announced its winners at a ceremony in London.
The big winner at the show hosted by Phil Wang and held at the Queen Elizabeth Hall last night was Baldur’s Gate 3, with five awards, including Best Game and Players’ Choice.
Larian Studios’ masterpiece of an RPG also took home the awards in the Music and Narrative categories.
Andrew Wincott’s memorable performance as Raphael in Baldur’s Gate 3 earned him the Performer in a Supporting Role Award.
Baldur’s Gate 3’s wins are no surprise as the game received 11 nominations across the BAFTA Games Awards’ 18 categories, including several noms for performances.
Another favourite with nine nominations, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, managed to grab just one award, for Nadji Jeter’s performance as Miles Morales.

Cyberpunk 2077’s expansion, Phantom Liberty, and the massive Update 2.0 that preceded it, earned CDPR’s futuristic RPG the Evolving Game Award, redeeming its rocky 2020 launch.
The BAFTA Special Award was presented to gaming charity SpecialEffect, for its outstanding work in helping people with disabilities to play video games.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder and British indie game Viewfinder also won two BAFTAs each.
