FORTNITE players are grabbing free V-Bucks thanks to a new offer from Epic Games.
Thousands will be able to pick up their free in-game currency, after Fortnite fumbled recent free rewards.
Players began to notice that they had 950 V-Bucks added to their accounts when they logged in, even though they didn’t redeem any.
With a value of approximately £7 / $9, people were pleased that they would be able to make extra in-game purchases.
A similar event occurred after Fortnite refunded players who purchased two very similar emotes.
However, while Epic Games announced this refund, the current 950 V-Bucks refund has not been explained.

Players believe that the refund is linked to Fortnite Crew, Fortnite’s subscription service.
For £10 / $12 a month, Fortnite Crew members receive limited-edition items, the Fortnite Battle Pass, and 1k V-Bucks.
It has been theorised that the refund has been given to those who subscribed to Fortnite Crew when they already owned the Battle Pass.
The Battle Pass costs 950 V-Bucks to purchase, so the specific amount in the refund makes this theory very likely.

If you purchased the Fortnite Battle Pass this month before signing up for Fortnite Crew, then getting your refund is very simple.
The V-Bucks should automatically appear in your account when you log in, and all you have to do is claim them.
Fortnite had just started Chapter 5 Season 2: Myths and Mortals, which is themed around Greek mythology.
The Battle Pass features various outfits, weapons, emotes, and items based on the Greek Gods alongside a number of variants.
