Fortnite down updates — Brand new skins and content revealed as Epic Games’ servers face fresh outage
FORTNITE players are in for more downtime today as the popular battle royale receives a new update.
Epic Games confirmed that matchmaking was paused at 8am GMT.
Players can expect the game to be back up and running by 12pm.
Among the new additions in this update are changes to LEGO Fortnite and brand-new Guardians of the Galaxy skins.

What to expect in today's update
Expert Fortnite leaker @ShiinaBR has given players a glimpse into what they can expect from today's update.
Taking to X, they wrote:

Fortnite hit with fresh downtime
Gamers are without their favourite battle royale today as Fortnite experiences more downtime.
In what is becoming a weekly occurrence, the Fortnite servers will be downtime this afternoon at the earliest.
This is so Epic Games can update the game, adding new features and skins.

Fortnite confirmed a new update will begin this morning.
Downtime started at 8am for those in the UK.
