DISNEY+ is set to increase the cost of subscriptions in a matter of days - but fans may be missing out on a way to continue watching for free.

Users have been warned that annual premium subscriptions will jump to £109.90 on March 24, up from £79.90, following the arrival of a new three-tier plan.

The changes started at the end of last year, with the top tier now costing £10.99 a month instead of £7.99.

But it also saw the introduction of a cheaper new plan costing £4.99 with ads included.

Fortunately, there are ways you can save money and use Disney+ for free through existing products and services you may have.

Free Disney+ for Samsung users

If you own a selected Samsung device you may be unknowingly sitting on a free Disney+ offer.

The tech giant offers a special "Boost" with every purchase - and it's not just for devices bought very recently either.

It's available with certain smartphones, tablets and laptops.

The perk provides users with either 12 months or six months access to the popular streaming service's standard tier.

If you are a Samsung Galaxy S24 owner, you will have to claim the Disney+ offer via the Samsung Wallet app instead.

Free Disney+ for Uber One

Uber is giving out a year's free access to Disney+ for Uber One subscribers.

Uber One is the ride hailing and delivery service's paid extra that provides discounts for regular users.

People who join Uber One's annual plan or upgrade to it will receive an email with instructions on how to redeem a free Disney+ account for a year, according to HotUKDeals.

Free Disney+ from your bank

Lloyds Bank customers can receive a free perk every year if they have a Club Lloyds account.

And one of the freebies available is Disney+.
