Fortnite added two emotes to the platform two years apart called Side Shuffle and Jubi Slide.

Players started to notice that the emotes were extremely similar, with the main difference being the music that played in the background.

Users complained about the similarity of the two emotes, calling it a new kind of ‘reskin’.

Epic Games has listened to the complaints and says it will refund all users who purchased both emotes a refund of 400 V-bucks.

This is roughly the equivalent of £4 / $5, so it is a good amount of money that players have missed out on.

The Jubi Slide, the newer emote added to the shop, was removed just a few hours after its release following complaints about the similarities.

It appears the Jubi Slide will not be released as a standalone emote again, although Epic Games has not announced this.

However, Epic Games has revealed that a new bundle will be released featuring both emotes in a two-for-one style deal.

The pack, which will be sold in the Item Shop for 600 V-Bucks, includes both Side Shuffle and Jubi Slide.

If you purchased both emotes separately, then you don’t need to do anything if you want to receive a refund.

You should receive your 400 V-Bucks when you next log in to Fortnite, though you will still keep both emotes.
