FINDING your way around is set to get a whole lot easier thanks to an upcoming Google Maps change.
Users have spotted a small but potentially significant new feature coming to the popular app used by millions.
Many of us not only depend on Google Maps to get from A to B but also to find nearby shops, restaurants and landmarks.
One particular issue you may encounter when attempting to reach these places is finding the right entrance, especially with bigger sites.
Well, that problem could be a thing of the past according to leaked screenshots.
Smartphone nerds found the feature tucked away in a test build of the app.

It shows two brand new icons that clearly indicate a building's entrance and exit points.
Apparently, the useful symbols only appear when you've select a place on the map and zoom sufficiently.
, who uncovered the feature, say it worked on places such as hotels, supermarkets and doctors' offices across New York City, Las Vegas, San Francisco and German capital Berlin - but only in "some" buildings, suggesting that Google is still working on the option.
They also claim some entrance icons weren't in the right spot.

So it's clearly early days but at some point when Google has refined the idea the new markers could save people loads of time looking for the right way into a building.
"This will be so convenient in major cities," one user wrote on Reddit.
"I've had it for a few days now and that's a small feature that doesn't seem like much but it is extremely helpful," another wrote.
A third added: "Not surprised at all, given Google Maps has been asking if you were able to find the entrance for years now."
It's not clear when - or indeed if - Google plans to make the feature official.
