Huge brand you’ve probably forgotten about launches £90 Android phone that’s hundreds cheaper than Samsung
REMEMBER MOTOROLA? That's the name of the company that was behind one of the most coveted flip phones of the early 2000s.
Well, it's just unveiled a brand new smartphone with a higher resolution screen than an iPhone - for only £89.
The company never stopped making phones, but as Apple and Samsung began dominating the global stage, Motorola fell into the background.
As smartphones go, Motorola's new Moto G04 phone is a bargain.
Apple unveiled it's most expensive smartphone lineup last year with the iPhone 15 at $799/£799, the iPhone 15 Pro ($999 / £999) and iPhone 15 Pro Max ($1,199 / £1,199).
Similarly, Samsung prices its newest Galaxy S24 device at $799/£799 for the 128GB handset, and the 1TB device at a whopping $1659/£1549.

For a fraction of the cost, the Moto G04 boasts a 6.6" HD+ display, with a screen that includes 90Hz technology - meanwhile the iPhone 15 can only has 60Hz.
This means smooth and highly detailed graphics while scrolling through social media, playing games or streaming.
The Android handset has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner - a feature iPhone owner sorely miss.
A dual-lens camera can snap DSLR-style Portrait images, which comes alongside a feature that can retouch your selfies automatically.

Similarly to iPhones and Samsung devices, the Moto G04 has a high brightness mode and night light mode which adapts the screen depending on your surroundings.
Dolby Atmos technology is built into the device for great on-the-go sound while streaming.
Motorola is also promising faster app loading thanks to its octa-core processor.
Although it's important to note: the Moto G04 has a splashproof design, meaning it is not not fully water resistant.
It will be available in colours including Concord Black, Sea Green, Satin Blue and Sunrise Orange.
