PS5 players can get a must-play 89-rated game for free – but there’s a catch
DEEP discounts on video games are nice, but there’s nothing quite like grabbing a game for free.
PS5 players are getting a great deal on a must-play game, just in time for its sequel, but there is a catch.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is now offered completely free to players who pre-order the upcoming second chapter in the FF7 Remake trilogy, Rebirth.
The Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Twin Pack is the best way to catch up on one of the most iconic stories ever told in gaming, right before its second act is released.
It includes both the upcoming Rebirth game and Remake Intergrade, and players can download and start the latter as soon as they make the purchase.
Priced at £69.99 / $69.99, the Twin Pack costs exactly the same as the pre-order price of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, effectively making FF7 Remake Intergrade free.

Players are getting the enhanced Intergrade version of FF7 Remake, which includes the Episode INTERmission story expansion.
INTERmission adds between 5 and 10 hours of game content, and lets you play as fan-favourite materia hunter Yuffie.
The Intergrade version also brought quite a few visual improvements, taking full advantage of the PS5’s more powerful hardware to deliver shorter loading times, 60fps mode, and 4K resolution.
FF7 Remake Intergrade has a very high 89 rating on review aggregator Metacritic.

While Final Fantasy 7 Remake is set entirely in the dystopian city of Midgar, the upcoming Rebirth sequel is going to take players into the open world.
Even players who have purchased Remake before can still buy the Twin Pack, and will receive Leviathan and Ramuh summon materia, if they have FF7 Remake save data on PS5.
There is also the Digital Deluxe Twin Pack, which includes the Digital Deluxe Edition of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, again bundled with a free digital copy of FF7 Remake Intergrade.
This bundle is priced at £84.99 / $89.99 and includes digital perks for Rebirth, such as a digital art book, mini soundtrack, and in-game items.
The deal is only available for digital copies of the games purchased through the PlayStation Store, and can’t be found at other retailers.
When pre-ordering, make sure to select Twin Pack or Digital Deluxe Twin Pack, to get your free copy of FF7 Remake Intergrade.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth launches on February 29, 2024, which is when this pre-order deal will be over, so fans still have a few weeks left to grab it.
If you are on the fence about pre-ordering Rebirth, you can wait for our review or check out this Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth preview.
