But others take cinema slightly more seriously, storing hundreds of films and TV shows in their iTunes Wishlist.

With iOS 17.2, Apple removed the option to purchase TV shows and movies from the iTunes Store apps.

Instead, customers are being redirected to the Apple TV app.

As part of Apple's plans to transition users from iTunes to Apple TV, the company deleted the Wishlist button - which some Apple customers had been using for more than a decade.

Customers have taken to several corners of the internet to voice their complaints, including Reddit, Twitter and the Apple Support Community.

On Reddit, one user : "I've looked on iOS, and my Wishlist has completely disappeared.

"I've been building it for about 10 years, and it had a little over 400 movies on it.

"I wish Apple would've thought this through more before just springing such a drastic change on us."

Another unhappy customer wrote in an forum: "I had almost 200 movies in my wishlist, and now, nothing, they are just gone.

"It would have been nice if those could have been rolled into the new Apple TV app and force-synced with the rest of the Apple ecosystem.

"I guess I should have been more prepared and manually gone through both and written down everything that was in there, but still.

"I will never be able to manually rebuild those two lists."
