It's easy to turn off background apps and processes.

First, you'll need to head to the Settings menu on your Fire TV Stick device.

The Settings menu is usually represented by a gears icon.

Click it and then scroll to Applications and tap it.

Now, you need to click on Manage installed applications.

Here you'll see a list of different apps that you have on your device.

You can select the one you want to stop running in the background.
