AMAZON Fire TV Stick users can avoid annoying buffering and loading issues if they take the time to connect their Wi-Fi correctly.
A poor internet connection will slow down your Fire TV Stick and may even result in the device not working.
One method to fix a bad Wi-Fi connection is restarting your modem and router.
advises: "Restart your modem and router.
"If possible, move your Fire TV device and router closer to each other."
If you choose to restart, Amazon suggests to first unplug your router and modem.
The tech giant says wait at least one minute before moving on to the next step.
Then, you'll need to plug your modem back in.
Wait another minute for the lights to turn on and for it to connect to the internet.
Now, try connecting your Fire TV Stick to the Wi-Fi connection again.

All you have to do is go to the Settings app and click on Network.
You should see your home network pop up in the options.
Select it and type in your password using the onscreen keyboard.
Then, click the Home button and test out the connection.
If you don't see your Wi-Fi network pop up, select Rescan.
Amazon advises upgrading to more modern Wi-Fi devices if your home network is struggling.
Its website states: "Fire TV devices with Wi-Fi 6E have faster speeds, increased bandwidth, and less latency because they support connections on the 6 GHz band.
"This prevents the overcrowding of devices on a Wi-Fi network and results in better performance."
