Simply buying a new Fire TV Stick won't solve all the issues that can come with losing one.

This is very important if your device has your Prime Amazon account connected with a credit card as your default payment information.

Deregistering is easy and only takes a few steps.
On a web browser, sign into your Amazon account.
Go to your Settings and find the Digital content and devices section.
Then, click on Manage content and devices.
