PlayStation fans rush to grab tantalising deal on one of 2023’s best games – it’s at its lowest-ever price
THIS year has been one of the best ever for video games, making a very difficult call for Game of the Year.
However, loads of brilliant games mean more great options for things to play, so it’s hard for gamers to complain.
Except when it comes to prices. As gaming prices rise, it’s getting harder and harder to keep up with the most recent releases.
Luckily PlayStation’s latest essentials sale has us covered with big discounts on popular games.
Our favourite deal from the sale is 50% off Like A Dragon: Ishin! the popular spin-off from the Yakuza series.
Following the loss of long-time protagonist Kazuma Kiryu, this spin-off brings him back, and a number of other Yakuza favourites in all but name.

It follows the story of Ryoma Sakamoto, who travels to the then capital Kyo to get to the heart of corruption in the government.
If that sounds a bit serious, don’t worry it is still filled with all the bombastic fights and goofy side stories that the Yakuza games are known for.
The latest PlayStation deal drops the price of the game to just £29.99 / $34.99, which is far lower than most games’ £70 / $70 price tag.
Purchasing this version also gives you both the PS4 and PS5 versions, so it doesn’t matter which console you own.
