Nintendo is turning another big game into a movie after Mario success – and fans are already predicting the star lead
NINTENDO is making a live-action film of The Legend of Zelda and fans reckon they already know who will play the Hollywood lead.
It appears the Japanese gaming giant is making an attempt at piggybacking off the success of the star-studded The Super Mario Bros Movie.
The film will be produced by Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto and Avi Arad, chairman of Arad Productions.
Arad, the CEO of Marvel Entertainment, is the man behind some of the biggest superhero movies that have ever graced the screens.
Wes Ball will enter the spotlight as director, following his success with the Maze Runner trilogy.
The Super Mario Bros Movie hit theatres in April, and became the highest-grossing film based on a video game after just one week of release.

The title, which featured Jack Black, Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Pratt among other stars, bagged a box office figure of £1.36billion.
Nintendo fans think The Legend of Zelda film will host an equally as star-studded cast.
While there's no concrete information regarding Nintendo's casting preferences, fans have taken to social media to share their theories.
And some seem to think Arad's input as Marvel chief may secure Hollywood heartthrob Tom Holland as Link, the main character in the game-to-film franchise.

"Tom Holland getting casted as Link is now a possibility and that's terrifying," joked X (formerly known as Twitter) user @kirawontmiss.
Another user, @samwise495, wrote: "Live action Legend of Zelda movie? With Tom Holland as Link?!"
Mario's Anya Taylor-Joy is slated to be Zelda in the live-action remake.
Some fans seem to have different theories.
"Morgan Davies & Hunter Schafer as Link & Zelda tbh but I know full well they'll just cast Tom Holland as Link though lol smh," X user @SurplusCloud89 tweeted.
While others don't see anyone in Hollywood fit to play the beloved character Link.
