I found a little-known Android setting that makes your phone battery last three times longer – try it for instant boost
A TIKTOKER has revealed a very simple Android settings change that could spare you heaps of battery.
Keepuptools claims that the hack is so effective that your battery could last up to three times longer.
The video has been liked almost 7,000 times.
And the trick is all to do with your Android phone's vibrations.
While vibration provides good feedback when tapping buttons it's a feature that uses a lot more power than most things.
So the TikToker recommends simply switching vibrations off.

To turn it off, start by going to Settings.
Look for the Sound and Vibration option.
You should see a vibration intensity setting, which you can slide all the way down to zero.
There are three vibrating options including calls, notifications and touch interaction.
So if you don't want vibration gone for good you could switch it off or down on two rather than all three.
That way you'll still save some battery.
Though the video doesn't cover iPhone, Apple fans can make similar changes too.
Go to Settings and look for Sounds & Haptics.
