Epic Games
There will be changes to the old map, but we’re not sure what yet.

If you want to know everything about the upcoming season we have all the information you need.

Here’s everything you need to know about Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5.

When does Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 start?

Chapter 4 Season 5 will start on Friday, November 3, 2023, and will end on Sunday, December 3, 2023.

Before the season starts there will be a few hours of downtime so that Epic Games can update the servers.

We expect the downtime to start around 8am UK time, as this is when it usually begins for new seasons.

The downtime can vary depending on how big the update is, however, it will usually end around 12pm – 1pm UK time, though can take a little longer.

If you want to keep up with when the downtime is ending then follow on Twitter.

What will change for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5?

Most of the changes for Season 5 are being kept secret, but we do know that the theme is centred around a throwback to Chapter 1.

The Chapter 1 map is making a comeback, albeit with a number of changes to fit in with modern Fortnite gameplay.

We don’t know exactly what changes will be made but we expect that the layout will be roughly the same, with new ziplines for those playing in No Build Mode.

Some old items will also be unvaulted from Chapter 1, including Shopping Carts and Turrets.

What will be included in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5’s Battle Pass?

We don’t know everything about the Battle Pass yet, but we do know that some costumes will be making a comeback.

Remixed versions of the Ragnarok, Lynx and Black Knight were teased for the Battle Pass.

The Black Knight outfit is particularly exciting, as accounts with the original skin can sell for around $250 to $400 (around £200 to £350).

We’ll have more details on the Battle Pass when Season 5 kicks off tomorrow.
