PlayStation players reportedly have nothing to fear as Xbox purchases Call of Duty giant

Hours after the CMA announced it would allow the deal to move forward, Xbox announced that the acquisition has been completed.
Microsoft owns a number of huge gaming studios, which has allowed them to develop quite a few exclusive games.
Some studios Microsoft has acquired have continued to develop and support games on multiple platforms.

The blog post reads: “Whether you play on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, PC or mobile, you are welcome here – and will remain welcome, even if Xbox isn’t where you play your favorite franchise.
“Because when everyone plays, we all win. We believe our news today will unlock a world of possibilities for more ways to play.”
Despite this, messages like these have still left others worried about the future of major franchises like Call of Duty.
