Xbox fans rush to buy 9/10 game landing in baskets for £1 – but only for a limited time
XBOX has launched another huge sale with up to 90% off some of the best games on the platform.
As part of the ID@Xbox programme, there are hundreds of highly-rated games selling for as low as £1.
One of the best gaming deals we found in the sale is a huge 90% off an extremely popular game.
Rated a high 85 on review aggregate site Metacritic and 9/10 on Steam, it’s a popular rogue-like that people still play.
Rogue Legacy is an action 2D platformer where every time you die, you play again as one of your ancestors.
Just like real people, each ancestor has different strengths and weaknesse, meaning that no two playthroughs are the same.

It's one of the harder rogue-likes, as you don’t carry much between runs, except for layouts and how to take out certain enemies.
Unlike some other rogue-likes, you don’t gain buffs over time, meaning that you aren’t more powerful with each run.
It is currently selling for a tiny £1.19, giving gamers incredible value for money.
How Long to Beat suggests that it takes around 20 hours to complete your first run, and around 40 hours if you want to 100% it.

This means that there is a lot of content available for a very small price.
The sale ends on Monday, October 16, 2023, after which Rogue Legacy will go back to full price.
There are also a huge number of other brilliant games as part of the sale, including titles that are available for less than £2.
This includes metroidvania Gato Roboto for just £1.67, and Minit, where each run lasts just 60 seconds, for £1.99.
