Gamers rush to play brand new Call of Duty game and be the first to try it – how to get the access code
GAMERS are rushing to be some of the first to play the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.
The new title has not yet been officially released, but gamers can get early access over the next two weekends.
PlayStation owners will be able to get hold of the early access code for the open beta over this weekend, between October 6 and 7, as well as October 8 and 10.
Whereas gamers on other platforms, such as Xbox and PC, will have to wait until next weekend, between October 12 and 16.
An open beta test is when game developers seek feedback from hardcore gamers.
To be some of the first to play, all fans need to do is pre-order the title.

Once pre-ordered, folks will receive a 13-character code they can input after
The title can only be redeemed after logging into a CoD account.
Then gamers will have a minimum of two days to beta test the game, before they will have down the controller and wait for its official launch.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is set to hit the shelves on November 10.
The price will vary depending on the console.
If you're unable to get an early access code to the open beta, then the supply of codes may have run dry.
Activision, the game's developer, only offers a select amount of codes with each beta trial.
However, it may just be that the servers are overloaded with fans across the world trying to get their hands on the title.
So, refresh, wait a few hours and try again.
