iPhone users warned of major change to privacy settings – upgrade to use new features

IPHONE users have been warned of a major change to their privacy settings as part of Apple's latest software update.

The new iOS 17 update was made available to iPhone users on September 18.

The update provides a sweeping upgrade of features on a number of Apple devices.

Among the many improvements is the fresh 'Check In' feature.

The enhanced setting allows users to share their location with friends and family.

It also sends your loved ones an automatic message to let them know you're arrived safely.
