Sky TV customers to receive free upgrade so they can pause and rewind live events on new streaming service
SKY customers who subscribe to TNT Sports get access to Discovery+ Premium at no extra cost.
And pretty soon the app will have some bonus features as well.
Sky has announced that the popular streaming app will be "updated soon".
At the moment, it's not possible to pause or rewind live streams watched through the app on Sky.
But watching via other platforms like an iPhone it is possible.
Sky says a future update will finally provide viewers with the star feature they've all been waiting for on Sky Q, Sky Glass and Sky Stream.

And crucially for any football fan, streams will be available in UHD too.
Of course, viewers can opt to watch the traditional TNT Sports channels available on Sky, where pause and rewind functions are available - if you're subscribed to it as part of your package.
Discovery+ is the main home for TNT Sports after it rebranded from BT Sport.
It provides football fans with access to UEFA Champions League and Europa League matches, as well as Premier League games.
Premiership Rugby, MotoGP, boxing, UFC and WWE programmes are also shown.
Discovery+ became the main digital home for TNT Sports, leading to the closure of the old BT Sport apps.
The platform is also the destination for Eurosport channels, for all things cycling, tennis, snooker, motorsports, and the Olympic Games Paris 2024.
