The Flights tool helps users sift through booking services to purchase the cheapest airfare.

Now, Google has updated Flights to include new features that can help users save even more money.

CHECKING THE BEST TIME TO BOOK

Google Flights can help you choose the best time to book a flight.

It does this by assessing vast amounts of historical data based on the type of flight you want and when.

PRICE NOTIFICATIONS

Google Flights can also notify you when the price of a flight changes.

Meaning, you can get instant alerts when the price drops below a certain price.

This allows users to quickly snag flights at a desired price point without needing to constantly check online.

"If you do want to wait for lower fares before you book, price tracking can do most of the heavy lifting for you," Google said.

PRICE GUARANTEES

Price Guarantee is a Flights feature that basically ensures you're getting the best deal on a flight.

This symbol basically means that Google is pretty sure that this is the best price you could possibly get for the given flight.

"On some flight results, you’ll see a colorful price guarantee badge, which means we’re especially confident the fare you see today won’t get any lower before departure," Google explained.

"When you book one of these flights, we’ll monitor the price every day before takeoff, and if the price does go down, we’ll pay you back the difference via Google Pay," the tech giant added.
