Netflix users are just realising hidden button unlocks free special perks – how to find it
NETFLIX has a hidden button which - if you press it - will give you all the newest features before your friends.
Features like spatial audio and the thumbs-up-thumbs-down system (which replaced the five stars ranking) were all trialled somewhere, and you could be one of the first to see them.
Deep inside your Netflix settings is an option to be a participant in this secret club.
If you say 'yes' to be included in tests and previews of new features, you become apart of a team of beta testers.
It requires very little work on your end, other than interacting with the newest features before your mates.
Beta testing is where target users try out new features for their overall effectiveness - usability, functionality, reliability, comparability and so forth.

According to Netflix, the tests "help improve the Netflix experience and see potential changes before they are available to all members."
However, the streaming giant is quick to dismiss concerns that these will be security, anti-fraud or enforcement features.
