Sky TV customers must claim three perks before it’s too late – including FREE ad-skipping

SKY customers are being urged to check their accounts for some free perks - before they're gone.

The broadcaster offers a number of special freebies every now and then as part of its Sky VIP scheme.

Sometimes you can grab free chocolate, cinema tickets and more.

At the moment, there's a bunch of bonus offers that you can access right from the comfort of your own home.

Free Lionsgate+

If you're looking for something new to watch, Sky customers can currently get Lionsgate+ for free.

The Netflix rival has a big list of films available including the likes of Halloween, Death Becomes her, La La Land and Mary Queen of Scots.

It has a number of exclusive shows such as comedy drama The Great, starring Elle Fanning and Nicholas Hoult.

There's also political thriller Gaslit with Julia Roberts and Sean Penn.

You can get Lionsgate+ free for three months until August 28.

Free STV ad-skipping

You usually have to pay to skip the ads on Sky.

But at the moment you can get it free for one streaming app - STV.

The platform not only benefits telly lovers in Scotland but there's a bunch of shows for everyone in the UK to enjoy as well.

Not least of all classic soap Brookside, which was recently added to STV Player.

You can redeem free ad-skipping for STV through the Sky VIP section of the MySky app.

Sky VIP regularly gives away free e-books and audiobooks.

At the moment, you can claim You by Zoran Drvenkar, which Sky's new series Then You Run is based on.

There's the new audiobook from AC/DC's Brian Johnson too.
