Millions of iPhone and Android owners can get a FREE battery upgrade with brand new perk

BRITS are being offered free battery health checks and replacements for their smartphones as part of a new Vodafone offer.

The network's customers who subscribed to a Vodafone EVO contract from July 26 onwards can take advantage of the new perk at no extra cost.

Battery Refresh is available for up to three years so your handset lasts longer.

Drained batteries will be completely replaced if needed.

If you're having trouble with battery performance, just use the Battery Refresh Tool in the My Vodafone app to check its status.

You'll then have to pop into a Vodafone store to have it sent off to be replaced free of charge.

On top of this, Vodafone offers lifetime warranty to cover device repairs against manufacturer faults for as long as you have a Pay Monthly Airtime Plan with the company.

The provider claims its the UK’s only Lifetime Service Promise.

"We know that customers are now keeping phones for up to four years, so we are thrilled to be adding our new market-leading Lifetime Service Promise to Vodafone EVO," said Max Taylor, Vodafone’s UK Chief Commercial Officer.

"It gives our customers that extra peace of mind, knowing their phone is covered for as long as they choose to keep the device."

  • Switch off Background App Refresh
  • Disable suggestions from Apple on Siri and Search
