Amazon shoppers rush to buy £500 laptop appearing for £210 as customer says it’s ‘superb’

On the hunt for a new laptop? We've spotted one that's proved a huge hit on Amazon.

Shoppers have been rushing to buy a Windows 11 laptop for 58% less than usual - it's been reduced to £209.98.

That colossal £290 discount is the reason, we suspect, that the SGIN laptop is currently at Number #2 on Amazon's list.

We haven't tried or test this laptop ourselves, but we've looked over its specs and it's certainly an impressive proposition.

The 15.6-inch screen is a decent size, and it's got Windows 11 (Microsoft's latest operating system) pre-installed.

There's an ample 128GB of internal storage, along with an impressive 8 hours of battery life, which is a great amount if you like to take your tech to your local coffee shop.

On that note - this a pretty darn portable device too, weighing 1.63kg and measuring only 2cm in thickness. We'd say that makes it a decent fit for most backpacks.

We also like to see what Amazon users have to say about products - and this currently scores an average of 4.6 out of 5 stars.

One user names it a 'superb laptop at a fantastic price,' and calls out it as the perfect gift for his teenage grandchildren.

Another says: 'Good laptop, great value,' and notes a £200 price difference between this laptop and spec-equivalent alternatives from big-name brands.

If you're after a budget alternative to the like of Dell and HP, this is a solid contender.

All we'll say is that price drops tend to come and go very quickly on Amazon, so if you're keen on picking up the SGIN while it's on sale - join the crowds who are doing so already, and get buying sharpish.

There will be plenty more deals on the way from Amazon soon, as the retailer has confirmed there will be a second Prime Day sale in October.
