Little do most Android users realise, there's actually a super speedier way to share Wi-Fi.

And all it involves is your friend or family member scanning a QR code hidden on your phone.
Here's how it works.
How to share Wi-Fi on Android using QR codes
Go to the Settings and select the Wi-Fi or Internet option.
Find the network you wish to share and tap the cog icon at the end of it.
Look for QR code share or simply Share.
A QR code will appear that another person can scan and gain instant access to the Wi-Fi without typing anything in.
Don't forget to always be careful who you share your Wi-Fi with.
As others have discovered, it can lead to all sorts of problems if you share it with some people - even those you think you can trust.
