Epic Games is giving away blockbuster games every week – and the first is a fan-favourite open-world

EPIC Games Store has started a new promotion that gives away a new game every week.

The first game is already available and is free for users of the Epic Games Store to download.

Death Stranding is the first game being given away absolutely free, down from its usual price of £23.99

It’s the first game released by Hideo Kojima of Metal Gear fame after leaving Konami.

Featuring Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelsen, you play as a courier delivering goods on a ravaged planet.

Death Stranding features one of gaming’s largest ever open worlds and was well-received by critics and fans alike.

It will be free via the Epic Games Store until Thursday, May 25, 2023.

After this a new game will be given away for free, though it is currently a mystery.

In order to download and play your free games, you’ll need to download the Epic Games Launcher to your PC.

Then all you need to do to claim your free game is to download it via the game’s page on the .

The announcement came alongside a new rewards scheme that Epic is introducing which is similar to Nintendo’s Gold Points.

For every purchase made on the store, customers will receive around 5% back to buy new games.

This even includes games on sale, meaning you will have even more money available to purchase games.

The money will be placed in a separate wallet called a Rewards Wallet that can only purchase games on the Epic Store.
