Samsung TV owners receive a free Amazon upgrade - check your telly now

SAMSUNG telly owners have received a free new feature that's bound to please gaming lovers.

Forget the PS5 and Xbox Series X, you can access top games directly from your TV.

Certain Samsung screens have gained access to Amazon Luna, the retail giant's own gaming service.

As a cloud-based platform it means there's no need to download any of the games.

And if you have an Amazon Prime account there are some titles you can play at no additional cost.

All without needing an expensive console.

Prime subscribers get access to a rotating selection of games every month.

For May, you can play LEGO DC Super-Villains, Resident Evil 2, Overcooked! and Time on Frog Island.

The only thing you do need is a controller.

There's a dedicated Amazon Luna one you can buy or you can use some other compatible USB 2.0 and Bluetooth controllers.

You can subscriber to Luna+ for even more games at £8.99 per month.

Luna is available in the Samsung Gaming Hub, which was introduced to Samsung's 2023 TVs.

You will also find it on the 2022 Smart Monitor Series.

As well as on Samsung TVs, Luna users can play on PCs, Macs, Fire TVs, Fire tablets, iOS and Android phones and tablets, and Chromebooks.
