XBOX has issued a warning to its users about a broken app on the console.

An error with this app is slowing down gaming speed and leaving some frustrated.

Currently, the capture function is not working properly, and the issue is affecting all consoles.

The capture software built into the Xbox consoles is failing to properly save images and videos.

However, Xbox has told fans that the footage is being captured on Xbox servers and will be available in players’ libraries eventually.

This means you don’t have to try to capture footage again, or there will be duplicates on your console.

More in Xbox

Xbox is looking into the issue and is hoping to fix it in the coming days.

However, aside from not saving footage, there is a bigger problem with this console error.

The main issue affecting players is that they cannot delete captured images and videos from their consoles.

Videos from your Xbox games can use a lot of storage space, and end up slowing down your console.

The Xbox Series S is most affected by the issue as it has a smaller capacity for storage.

Players are advised to stop taking screenshots or capturing footage before the issue is resolved.

Otherwise they could run out of storage in no time, and have to delete games or apps in order to install more.

It is unclear which issues will be resolved first.

If only the saving bug is fixed, then players could quickly see their storage filling up.

Despite this, both problems should be fixed soon, so players should only need to hold off sharing footage for a few days.
