Enabling developer mode means you can unlock new features that are usually reserved only for Android's software bosses.

To do this, open Settings and scroll down to About phone.

Tap on Build number a few times, at which point developer mode should unlock.

Next, head to System inside the Settings app.

Then click Developer options.

Scroll down until you hit Quick settings developer tiles.

From there you want to turn on the toggle for Sensors off.

Now when you head to quick settings, the drop down mini-menu on your home screen, you'll see the Sensors option.

This will turn off every sensor in your phone for first and third party apps.

This includes everything, from the camera and microphone to the accelerometer and gyroscope.

When you open TikTok, for example, you'll still be able to scroll through videos but you won't be able access the camera or the microphone.

However, the feature should be used sparingly.

This is because it will cause some features to stop working, such as auto-rotation and auto-brightness.
