AI system GPT-4 can create drugs, invent games and pass law exam in SECONDS
OPENAI has released GPT-4 and it can already compete against humans in many impressive tasks.
Dubbed the "latest milestone in OpenAI’s effort in scaling up deep learning," GPT-4 is a large multimodal model.
This means it accepts both image and text inputs to emit text outputs – unlike ChatGPT 3, OpenAI's earlier learning model application.
Essentially, when shown a photo of something, GPT-4 can describe the scene and even predict what could happen next.
For example, if a user inputs a photo of a child holding a slingshot in front of a cup, GPT-4 could assume that the child will shoot the slingshot, tipping the cup over.
Experts are calling the advancement a huge leap forward for AI learning and development.
Shipper said if users input a currently available drug, GPT-4 can " find compounds with similar properties," and "modify them to make sure they're not patented."
It can also "purchase them from a supplier (even including sending an email with a purchase order)."
Generate games
Pietro Schirano shared on Twitter that he was able to re-create the classic computer game Pong in under 60 seconds.
He further GPT-4 "an incredible and transformative technology."
Another user revealed they re-created the game of Connect Four, while others created their own games.
These are just a few exams from a longer list that the learning model can pass with flying colors.
Code Chrome extensions
The powerful tool can even code and create Google Chrome extensions, YouTube host Jake Browatzke on Twitter.

"Imagine receiving a call, clicking a button, the call is transcribed and a 1,000-word lawsuit is generated," Browder said.
"GPT-3.5 was not good enough, but GPT-4 handles the job extremely well," Browder added.
