It was originally retailing at £59.99.

And the Xbox Series X one is now £49.85.

Hogwarts Legacy was released on both platforms on February 10.

The game is set before the time of Harry Potter, following the adventures of a student who mysteriously joins Hogwarts in the fifth year.

It's set in the late 1800s, so don't even expect to see Dumbledore - though there are loads of nods to the main Harry Potter series.

Fans were recently warned to watch out for dodgy links related to the game.

It comes after experts noticed that crooks have created dangerous fake download links specifically around the game due its massive popularity.

The problem is a particular concern for PC players looking to download Hogwarts Legacy.

You need to be careful about what you install as it may be malware.

Especially if it's offering the game for free - which is a massive red flag.

Always buy game downloads from a reputable online retailer.

Hackers regularly jump on hype to spread costly viruses.

We recently heard how cybercriminals used the buzz around Last Of Us to carry out a similar ruse.
