No matter whether you're playing Scarlet or Violet, there is a lot of free stuff you can pick up

POKÉMON Scarlet and Violet is the series first live-service mainline game, with new events popping up every week.

If you want to grab some free items and Pokémon for these events, read on to find out what's currently available.

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: How to redeem Mystery Gifts

Follow these steps to redeem a Mystery Gift in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet:

  1. Press the X button in the game to open the menu.
  2. Select the Poké Portal option on the right.
  3. Select the Mystery Gift option at the bottom.
  4. Select the method for redeeming the Mystery Gift.
  5. If you have a code for redemption, enter it to receive your reward.
  6. If your Mystery Gift does not require a code, then select ‘Get via Internet’ to automatically receive your gift.
