Millions of WhatsApp users are getting a huge app change – and it’s so handy
ANDROID WhatsApp users may notice something a bit different very soon.
The popular messaging app is preparing a brand new look to the camera mode.
Leaked screenshots show a slight revamp to the built-in camera interface.
Photo and video modes have been completely separated to make things easier.
At the moment, it's all in one place, requiring you to tap to take a photo or hold the button to record.
But as some users will have noticed, it can be a bit awkward recording a video this way.

So with this new take on things, you can hit record once without keeping hold of the button.

Early testers have had a play with it but there's no word on when it'll be rolled out as a full public release.
As with many of the leaked new features, they may well not launch fully at all.

How to get WhatsApp beta
To download WhatsApp beta for your smartphone you need to go to Google Play on your and search for WhatsApp.
Scroll down the page until you see "Become a Beta Tester".
Tap the "I'm In" button and then click "Join" to confirm.
Now all you have to do is wait for the update to the beta version of the app.
