Cut your iPhone or Android bills with £6 SIM that gets you 80GB of 5G data and unlimited calls
IF you've had a smartphone for a while, you might be able to slash your bills.
Consider ditching your current contract and switching to a cheaper SIM-only plan.
If you've already paid your phone off – or you've bought one outright – then a SIM-only deal could save you loads of money each month.
There's a very decent offer available from iD over at Mobiles.co.uk.
You get a very generous 80GB of data for just £6 a month – instantly upgrading your iPhone or Android.

You'd struggle to burn through that much data, unless you've a very intense user.
Better yet, this is 5G data – so if you have a 5G-supporting phone, you'll get nippy download speeds.
Of course, you'll need to make sure you've got 5G coverage in your area, otherwise you'll just end up using 4G anyway.
If you haven't heard of iD, don't panic: it only launched in 2015.

The iD network is a subsidiary of Currys, and is classed as a "virtual" operator.
That's because rather than running its own networks, it piggybacks on Three.
The deal also includes unlimited minutes and texts.
There is a catch: this is a cashback deal.
So the amount you'll pay each month is actually £10, but you'll be able to save £48 a year by claiming cashback.
That means your total yearly bill is £72 after cashback.
There are some bonus perks, too.
You can use your UK data, minutes and texts in 50 destinations around the world.
And you can roll over any unused data to the next month for free.
There's no upfront fee, and it's not even a bad deal at £10 per month without the cashback.
