Mo Salah headlines FIFA 23’s Team of the Week

ULTIMATE Edition players and EA Play subscribers have been in the game this week, with the Standard Edition of FIFA 23 out tomorrow.

This week’s Team of the Week has just been announced and there are some great new cards with ratings in the high 80s.

Most impressive is Liverpool’s Mo Salah, who now joins the club of highest rated male players with a rating of 91.

This means his Team of the Week card is equal to Mbappé, De Bruyne, Messi, and Benzema.

However, if you are waiting for the FIFA 23 Standard Edition to release, it doesn’t mean you have to miss out on a day’s worth of top tier Team of the Week pulls.

If you download the FIFA 23 companion web or mobile app, you can open FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) packs straight away.

This means you can start building your team ready for launch.

The following Team of the Week cards will show up as special cards in FUT packs this week, with boosted stats.

EA Sports is still keeping the boosts small, with most players only receiving a one point boost to their ratings.

Eldor Shomurodov is the rare double boosted card this week, with a massive nine point boost from 75 to 84.

This week’s team will be available via FUT packs until Wednesday, October 5, 5pm UK time.

After that, these boosted cards will only be available on the transfer market, usually for high prices.
